Cook’s Club has opened its ninth hotel with a second property in Rhodes: the Cook’s Club Ialysos. The new-build is the brand’s fourth in Greece, with a fifth planned to open in Corfu next month.
The 83-room, adults-only hotel, which includes bungalows, private pool suites and some with their own private roof garden, is located in the picturesque Ialysos area of northwest Rhodes.
Close to the village of Kremasti, and 800m from the beach, the property offers a pool, gym, yoga pavilion, wellbeing courtyard, Cantina restaurant, Captain Cook Bar and live DJs. The private pool suites, bungalows, and rooms’ design features include wooden furniture, rustic pergolas and woven reed lamps.
The Rhodes opening will be joined by a new hotel in Corfu later this year, joining the eight existing properties in Crete; Kos; Rhodes; Sunny Beach, Bulgaria; Palma Beach, Majorca; Alanya and Marmaris, Turkey; and El Gouna, Egypt.
Fosun Tourism Group acquired both the Cook’s Club and Casa Cook brands in December 2019, after the collapse of Thomas Cook. The group announced plans last year ‘to operate no less than 30 hotels worldwide by the end of 2023’.
Rooms from £61.
